Hastelloy C22 vs C276 — Technical Overview

Both alloys are nickel-chromium-molybdenum corrosion-resistant alloys. C22 is highly resistant to oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, pitting, crevice attack and stress-corrosion cracking. C276 also provides strong resistance to oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids, chloride pitting/crevice attack and sour-service cracking. C22 has higher chromium than C276, supporting strong oxidizing-media and chloride-pitting resistance.
