HEX BOLTS IN STAINLESS STEEL & EXOTIC GRADES

Technical reference for Aanuraj hot-forged Hex Bolts manufactured in stainless steel, Duplex, Super Duplex and Hastelloy grades for demanding industrial applications.

Our Grade & Material Expertise

Aanuraj's Hex Bolt range covers conventional stainless grades through high-alloy and nickel-based fastener materials. Material grade, fastener specification, heat treatment and inspection requirements should be agreed against the purchase order and applicable standard.

Technical distinction: ASTM fastener specifications such as A193, F593 and A1082/A1082M define fastener requirements for their applicable grades/conditions. The material-property values below are reference wrought-material data and must not be substituted for the mechanical acceptance criteria of the ordered bolt specification.

Hex Bolt Dimension Standards — Metric & Inch

Technical comparison of hex-head dimensions. Metric sizes are compared across DIN, ISO and the applicable ASME metric reference; inch sizes use ASME B18.2.1. Always specify the governing standard on the purchase order.

Heat-treatment warning: Temperature alone does not define a compliant heat treatment. Soak/holding time, section size, furnace uniformity, atmosphere, transfer time and cooling method all affect the result. For duplex and super-duplex grades, rapid cooling is especially important to control deleterious phases and maintain the required austenite/ferrite balance. The final treatment should follow the ordered material/fastener specification and approved process.

Standards & Fastener Specification

  • DIN 931 / ISO 4014: metric hex head bolts, partially threaded forms.
  • DIN 933 / ISO 4017: metric fully threaded hex screw/bolt forms.
  • ASME B18.2.1: inch-series square and hex bolts/screws.
  • ASTM A193/A193M: alloy and stainless steel bolting for high-temperature/high-pressure and special-purpose applications.
  • ASTM F593: stainless steel bolts, hex cap screws and studs in specified alloy groups/conditions.
  • ASTM A1082/A1082M: high-strength precipitation-hardening and duplex stainless steel bolting for special-purpose applications.
  • Hastelloy C22/C276: nickel-alloy material routes include ASTM B574/B574M for rod/bar; the finished fastener specification should be agreed separately.
